Mother's Day 2009

For our first Mother's Day as a family Daenerys, Paulino and I went to our neighborhood park for a picnic lunch. It was a beautiful way to celebrate being a new mom to a wonderful daughter and be grateful for such a supportive husband and father.

Daenerys Laura Lee Quesada Has Arrived!

At about 1:00 in the morning on April 25th my waters finally broke, actually it was more like leaked. Around 4:00 in the morning Paulino and I decided it was time to call the hospital and head on in for delivery. After 21 hours of labor, Daenerys decided to leave the womb and enter the world. She was born at 10:10 p.m. weighing in at 6 lbs. 11 oz. and 19.75 inches long.

Valentine's Day

Here I am looking VERY pregnant! Last year Paulino took me to a restaurant downtown called Huber's and we liked it so much we've decided to make it a Valentine's Tradition. Huber's is a Portland landmark that is over 100 years old and we like to dine in the bar area because everything is really old wood and the ceiling is made of stained glass. The food is really good too!

Snowed In!

I look pretty pregnant even with 4 layers of clothing and a heavy winter coat!
