First Snow

Portland had it's first snowstorm this winter last Tuesday night. It started around 4 o'clock and before too long we had 3 inches on our deck! We stayed bundled up inside watching the snow fall but about 1,000 cars were abandoned during the evening commute. It's been called "The Worst Commute in Portland History"!

Christmas Comes Early!

Christmas came a little early for the Quesada house when a big truck arrived with our new table that Nana got for us! We absolutely love it and have been eating ALL of our meals there. It's also made D&D night a lot roomier! Even Monkey gave it her personal seal of approval.

P.S. Aren't her new socks adorable? My friend Krista made them for her!

Pumpkin Patch!

Paulino and I decided to make it a Quesada family tradition to get our Halloween pumpkins at the pumpkin patch on Sauvie Island. We went a little early this year because the weather has been so nice and the rains are about to come. We pretty much had the place to ourselves except for some kids on a field trip completely monopolizing the hayride. The walk out was fun...the walk back ...that's a different story!

Last Days of Fall

The weather has been so nice lately, we have been getting as much time outdoors as we can before the rains start. The trees here are really beautiful, all the leaves aflame with color so Daenerys and I have started collecting especially pretty leaves, pine cones, acorns, and other things Fallish. Taking all these walks also means more park time so Daenerys and I tried the slide...it was a hit!

A Day at the Park

It was a beautiful fall day today so we decided to walk to the store. There is a great little neighborhood park along the way so we thought Daenerys might like to try out the swings! After a little hesitation, she started to enjoy herself and laugh, but I think she really liked looking at all the other children at play!
